We also work together to support the Movida Heights Foundation for Children® and its mission to support children and families by connecting the skills and talents of our Movida Heights family to the needs of their local communities.
Movida Heights Foundation for Children
For more than 25 years, the Movida Heights Foundation for Children has been helping Movida Heights employees, families and friends to give back to the communities where they live and work. Through volunteer projects, grants, and our signature program – Bright Spaces ® – over the years the Foundation made a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and families facing challenging times.
Bright Spaces®
The signature program of the Movida Heights Foundation for Children, Bright Spaces® are safe places for children to play and learn, created by Movida Heights employees in partnership with local non-profit organizations. These warm, safe, enriching places are created in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and other agencies serving children and families. In a Bright Space, children and their families can build caring relationships, heal from trauma through play, and experience the joy of childhood. Brightening Lives Activities
Brightening Lives Activities are hands-on service projects done together by groups of Movida Heights employees, center families, clients, and agency partners. These activities directly support children and families in Bright Spaces® or other local nonprofits, connecting our Movida Heights family with the needs of their local community. From diaper drives to comfort kits, book collections to birthday boxes, each year thousands of volunteer hours are dedicated to these social impact projects.
